Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a full wedding weekend, it helps to know what to expect from your photography team. This is your quick guide to how we work — what happens before the wedding, what the actual day feels like, and how things unfold after you say “I do.”

Before the Wedding

We start with a call or email consult — something casual so we can get to know each other. You’ll tell me what you’re planning, where, how many people, what kind of vibe you’re going for, and any must-have moments or family dynamics I should know about.

From there:

I’ll build a custom quote or collection for yo

You’ll receive a contract and invoice for a retainer to lock in your date

We stay in touch throughout the planning process (or with your planner if you’re working with one)

Engagement Session?

If you’ve booked one, we’ll schedule it around lighting and location — city, desert, beach, wherever feels like you.

Timeline Help?

Yes. I regularly help couples and planners build timelines that prioritize photos and leave breathing room.

I’ll help you figure out things like:

When to do portraits or first look

How long you’ll need for family photos

How lighting changes throughout your day

During the Wedding

I’m your lead photographer and main point of contact. I’ll show up early, camera-ready, and in sync with your planner or team.

My goal on the day:

Be present but not in the way

Keep things moving without rushing you

Watch for real emotion, small gestures, quiet moments — and still get those key portraits

If you’ve got a bigger wedding or want full video coverage, I’ll bring the team. Everyone I work with is experienced, creative, and knows how to collaborate under pressure. You’ll get consistent coverage without any chaos.

After the Wedding

You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery about one week after your wedding — a handful of favorite frames to relive the magic and share right away.

Then:

Your final gallery is delivered in about a month and a half

It’s full-resolution, beautifully edited, and ready for download, sharing, and printing

If your package includes albums or prints, I’ll walk you through the design process based on your favorites

Your images are securely backed up — nothing gets deleted until well after everything is delivered. From there, you're going to want to download and backup your files.

Frequent Questions

Q: Do you pose people?

Yes — when needed. I give clear, easy direction for portraits so you don’t feel stiff. The rest of the time I’m quietly documenting everything as it unfolds.

Q: What happens if it rains or something goes off schedule?

We adapt. I’m used to working in all lighting and weather conditions, and I build time into the schedule for flexibility.

Q: What gear do you use?

We work with two pro-level camera bodies and lenses — plus backup gear, off-camera lighting, and more. Our video team also uses pro-level  gear (fun fact, it's Netflix approved)

Q: Do you travel?

Yes — I’m based in Las Vegas and California (no travel fees between), and available to travel anywhere you’re getting married.

Q: Can we book just video or just photo?

You can book either, or both. We offer hybrid coverage or full teams depending on the size and scope of your day.
